• What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
  I am sure there must be something, but I can’t think of anything?!  
• Did anyone close to you give birth?

  um, not really close to me . . . not in 2007, anyway.
• Did anyone close to you die?

  again, not in 2007. knock on wood.
• What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

  “enough” money, of course. and the discipline/obedience to tithe, no matter what.
•  What was your biggest failure of the year?
  Messing up the NYCTF interview, I guess. 
• Where did most of your money go?

  Credit card interest, going out to eat. 
• Compared to this time last year:
  • are you happier or sadder?
    um, today’s not a good day to ask, but probably about the same.
  • thinner or fatter?
    Normally the answer would be “fatter”, but I had lost some weight after my surgery in december, so maybe thinner or the same.
  • richer or poorer?

    definitely poorer–more so all the time!
• What do you wish you’d done more of?
  Blogging, of course!
• What do you wish you’d done less of?

  Subscribing to way more blogs than I will ever have time to read.
• What was the best book you read?

  Yeesh. I’m quite sure that I haven’t actually FINISHED a book in the last year or so. I’m enjoying Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point, though.   
• What was your favorite film of this year?

  I guess Hairspray.  Edit: I forgot about Lars and the Real Girl.
• What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

  If I could answer that question, I wouldn’t be so angst-ridden.
• Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
  um, that I’m apparently not dying after all . . . and that I’m less happy/appreciative about that than I probably ought to be.
