I just responded to your comment to my blog post on my own site but then realized I should probably respond on your own site! 🙂 You asked if I was related to “the” Johanna Veenstra, and unfortunately I don’t think I am. I had written that the name “Veenstra” is like Smith in Friesland/Holland, so they’re everywhere, really. I do know about the “famous” one, though, and it’s neat to hear of someone else who does too! My great-aunt, who shared the name, was a missionary in her own right as well — very cool. Thanks for checking out my blog!
